Titanium Grade 5 Sheet is a flat, thin sheet made from Grade 5 titanium, also known as Ti-6Al-4V, which is an alpha-beta titanium alloy containing about 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium. This grade is the most widely used titanium alloy due to its high strength, lightweight, and excellent corrosion resistance.
Grade 5 titanium sheets are commonly used in aerospace, medical implants, marine, chemical processing, and high-performance automotive industries. Typical applications include aircraft structural components, surgical instruments, marine hardware, heat exchangers, and sports equipment.
Titanium Grade 5 Sheet offers a combination of superior mechanical properties, good weldability, and exceptional resistance to corrosion, making it ideal for demanding environments where both strength and durability are critical. It is stronger than commercially pure titanium grades while still maintaining excellent corrosion resistance and toughness.
